PROCUREMENT
PSWC is designated as one of the procuring agencies of the state of Punjab. PSWC through its hugh network has not only been able to achieve the targets everytime, but also has been maintaining its impeccable record of rendering outstanding services to the farmers by arranging prompt payment of their agricultural produce.

STORAGE / WAREHOUSING
With a network of 117 warehouses, the main principle behind storage in PSWC is Scientific Warehousing which involves protecting the agricultural produce from seasonal and natural hazards, pests and moisture. PSWC uses the most modern storage techniques to maintain the nutritious level of food grains and also increase their market value.

CONTAINERISATION
PSWC was the pioneer in bringing international standards of containerisation in North India. PSWC runs five CFSs / ICDs in the various industrial hubs of Punjab . The CFSs / ICDs are fully equipped with all modern facilities and are instrumental in the growth of Punjab's foreign trade.

EXPORT OF FOOD GRAINS
Upon declaration of PSWC as an canalizing agency for exports by Govt. of India during September 2002, PSWC entered into a globally known concept of export of food grains and further diversified its commercial activities abroad. More than 2 lacs MTs of wheat cargo has already been exported.
